إزالة سبع حالات لدواجن مصابة بمرض الطيور في ثلاث مواقع بمصر
17 فبراير 2006دعا السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء بعد ظهر اليوم الجمعة 17/2/2006 إلى إجتماع طـاريء حول مرض انفلونزا الطيور حضره السادة وزراء الدفاع ، والداخلية ، والبيئة ، والاعلام ، والزراعة ، ومحافظى القاهرة والجيزة ، وممثلى وزارة الصحة ، وتضمن الاجتمـاع مناقشـة ما يأتى:1. تلقت غرفة العمليات المركزية الخاصة بمتابعة مرض انفلونزا الطيور مساء أمس الخميس 16 فبراير أول نتيجة تحليل ايجابية لعينات إيجابية مصـابة بفيروس H5N1، وذلك نتيجة تحليل سبعة عينات من دواجن مريضة ونافقة (4 حالات في القاهرة وحالتين اثنين في الجيزة ، وحالة واحدة في المنيا) ، وقد تم تلقى النتائج المعملية الأولية الإيجابية للحالات السبعة الساعة الثالثة صباح الجمعة ، وحتى يتم التأكد معمليا مرة أخرى فقد تم التعامل مباشرة مع بقايا الطيور النافقة ، كما تم اعدام الطيور الموجودة فى نفس أماكن الاصابة ، وتم دفن البقايا بالشكل العلمى المتبع عالميا، وقد تم بعد ظهر اليوم الجمعة ورود التاكيد النهائى المعملي بأن الحالات السبعة إيجابية بين الدواجن ، وتم التاكد أيضا من عدم وجود أية حالات إصابة بالمرض بين المواطنين.2. الجدير بالذكر أنه قد تم خلال الفترة الماضية ـ منذ بدء إنتشار المرض عالميا ـ تحليل ما يزيد عن 37 ألف عينة لحالات من الدواجن مشتبه بها أو نافقة ، نتيجة لبلاغات من المواطنين أو نتيجة للتحليل الدوري الذى تقوم به الجهات المعنية - ولم يثبت وجود أية حالات إيجابية للإصابة بالمرض حتى الأمس ، حيث تعتبر الحالات السبعة المذكورة هى أول حالات الاصابة بالمرض فى مصر وجميعها حالات تم تربيتها منزليا وليست في إطار مزارع الدواجن.3. قامت وزارة الصحة بتوقيع الكشف الطبى على كافة المواطنين المخالطين لحالات الاصابة السبعة أو المقيمين حولها ، كما تم تحليل عينات معملية منهم جميعا ، وقد اثبتت نتائج الكشف والتحاليل عدم وجود أية اصابة بشرية بالمرض من بين المخالطين للحالات المصابة من الدواجن.4. تتابع غرفة العمليات المركزية المسئولة عن تنفيذ الخطة القومية لمجابهة انفلونزا الطيور تطورات الموقف ، وسوف تعلن تباعا عن كافة التفاصيل والتطورات التى تتعلق بهذا الموضوع بسرعة وبشفافية تامة.5. يتم التنسيق مع منظمة الصحة العالمية بشكل وثيق وذلك للتأكد من الالتزام بتطبيق كافة الإجراءات التي توصي بها المنظمة للتعامل مع هذا المرض.6. تعلن غرفة العمليات المركزية عن أرقام التليفونات الآتية التى يمكن للمواطنين الاتصال بها على مـدار الساعة للابلاغ عن الحالات المشتبه بها أو للاستفسار عن أية تفاصيل تتعلق بالمرض : - 555 3 555 0800 - 027921060 - 027923608 - 027923739
Eradication of seven birds killed by bird flu disease in three locations in
Egypt
17 February 2006The Prime Minister convened, in the afternoon of Friday 17/2/06, an urgent ministerial meeting on bird flu disease. The meeting was attended by the ministers of defense, interior, environment, information and agriculture as well as the governors of Cairo and Giza and representatives of the Ministry of Health. The meeting discussed the following :1. The central operations unit responsible for monitoring bird flu disease in Egypt received, in the evening of Thursday 16/02/06, the first positive results of samples infected with the H5N1 virus. The samples were collected on seven sick and dead chicken infected with the disease (four in Cairo, two in Giza and one in Minia). The preliminary positive laboratory results for the seven cases were received at 3:am on Friday. Pending final laboratory confirmation, urgent measures were taken to dispose of the rests of the infected dead birds, execute other birds present at the locations where the virus was detected, and bury them in accordance with international scientific procedures followed in these cases. On Friday afternoon, final laboratory results were received confirming the seven positive cases of bird flu disease. The absence of any cases of bird flu disease among humans was also confirmed. 2. During the past period – and since the worldwide dissemination of the disease - more than 37 thousand samples of suspected birds have been analyzed as a result of reports by citizens or of periodic analysis carried out by the competent authorities and no positive cases of bird flu disease had been detected until yesterday. This means that the seven cases of chicken referred to are the first cases of bird flu disease in Egypt. It is worth noting that these chickens were bred domestically and not in chicken farms. 3. The Ministry of Health has carried out a medical examination of all the inhabitants who came in close contact with the seven cases or who were living in their vicinity. In addition, laboratory samples were collected from all of them. The results of the examination and of the laboratory samples have confirmed the absence of any cases of bird flu disease among these subjects. 4. The central operations unit, responsible for the implementation of the national plan to combat bird flu disease, is closely following the developments of the situation and will make available any details or developments relating to this matter in a rapid and transparent manner. 5.The Government is closely coordinating with the World Health Organization to ensure that all procedures recommended by the organization to deal with this disease are adhered to.6. The central operations unit can be contacted by citizens wishing to report any suspected cases or to enquire about any details concerning the disease.
